Henpecked Man

At first I was in love and so was she

we'd laugh, behave and talk respectfully

and share, to show we care

but thats when it all began it's

my life as a henpecked man

And so began the old trivial round

trying hard each day to stand my ground

defend the rightful end

but nothing would go as planned

I turned into a henpecked man

she said do this, do that

change your hair

feed the dog, then the cat

build, fix and repair

Shut up and pay

don't go out

stay and obey

my every word

change your shirt

forget about Jane and Tarzan

I am just a hen-picked man

to have some peace and quiet for the day

but no it's status quo

she still has the upper hand
