She had not seen her granny for some time
But she was very sure that granny looked quite different
For a start, she was sure that granny did not have all those hairs on her face
But she continued
"Oh granny, what big ears you have!"
"All the better for hearing you with", replied
Mr. Wolf, thinking to himself how wonderful his acting was
Oh granny, what big eyes you have!
All the better for seeing you with, replied
Mr. Wolf, as he imagined himself receiving

"All the better for eating you with"
Cried Mr. Wolf, and he leapt out of bed and went to attack her
But Red Riding Hood was clever
She had begun to realise that she was not talking to granny
But in fact it was someone else
In fact, she had realised that with the big ears
Eyes and big teeth, that she was talking
To the wolf from a few moments ago
And Red Riding Hood was as fast as lightning when it came to taekwondo
Firstly, she blocked Mr. Wolf with her arms
And he was so surprised he lost balance and fell back onto the floor
"Oh, my back!" He screamed
Red Riding Hood stayed ready to defend herself
Just in case he tried to attack her again
But he could not
Instead, he began to feel sick
He began to cough, and suddenly he threw up
And Red Riding Hood's granny flew out of his mouth, all covered in his saliva
I say, "Did you remember to bring my cookies, darling?"
Granny announced as if nothing had happened
Mr. Wolf looked up and saw Red Riding Hood ready for action
Taekwondo style, and knew
That he had been defeated
"I give up", he said weakly
Red Riding Hood was not stupid, in fact she was very clever
And before she let Mr. Wolf go
She got him to agree to never ever eat or try to eat another
Human or indeed any other animal
Mr. Wolf agreed, and since then he's become a vegetarian
He even helps look after the forest, and makes sure it's well looked after
The other day, he auditioned for the local production of "the Phantom of the Opera"
And he was picked to be the Phantom himself
He is so thrilled and happy
In Red Riding Hood, she realised that you can learn from experiencing life
Her family realised that she was much more independent than they thought
She became a hero in her local village, not that she planned to stay living there
For when she gets older, Red Riding Hood is going to go and visit the whole wide world
