Timed Test

And I

Ain't so good at organize

Organizing my time

Cause pressures' always high

And I

Feel like I'm stuck in some beige foreign land

Where my hands play in too many grand

Grasps to the things they wish they had

So I'm trying to find balance

Cause life

Is like a timed test

That I know I can't cheat

With no end boss to beat

And though I'll find my way

And I know I will be okay

My life can be overwhelming

In school

I often neglected the rules

Catching teacher in a net of questions

About what she did on her vacation

So it seems

There's a list of curiosities

That distract me

And suddenly I find

Why all our tests were timed

So I'm trying to find balance

Cause life

Is like a timed test

That I know I can't cheat

With no end boss to beat

And though I'll find my way

And I know I will be okay

My life can be overwhelming

Cause when

You unscrew the camera lens

It makes blurry

All the things that I used to see

So I am trying

Oh, I'm trying

To do the best I can

Through low and high demand

Penance I will receive

But not from a priest or teacher

But me

I hope I get an A+

Though grades never mattered much

Gold stars don't indicate talent
