Sunburns in December

A world keeps us apart, everyday

Far from the eyes, close to my heart as they say

You live inside a postcard, so far away

But I need more than the pictures of Betty's Bay

I took a train, then a plane, I'm traveling through the seasons

I leave the rain, and the pain, I had to deal with the distance

From cold and and grey, to sunny day

I'm gonna get

You're my bright sun in the winter

Leave footprints in the sand, after we play

And ice cream in the shade for Christmas Day

We'll make our own little postcard along the way

And both be in the pictures of Betty's Bay

You're growing up, you little pup
