Everyone is living with a runneth over cup

But there’s a 50/50 chance the things you see are all made up

Cause being happy for that long

It just seems wrong

And makes me wonder if it’s real

You can tell when you’re in person what a person is inside

But behind profile pictures is a clever place to hide

When they’re online

They all look fine

But I can never tell if they can even feel

Chain reaction of distraction

Getting harder to ignore

But there’s still corners of my mind

That I’ve been waiting to explore

I like being with friends instead of reading what they did

Everyday there is another one of us that has a kid

It’s not that I don’t care

I’d rather be there

Than just see it on a phone

You could dumb it down and just type out a quick hello

But don’t call me for tickets when we’re playing our next show

I won’t have time

Just get in line

And hope you get one before all the seats are gone
