Been seventeen days since I've been home

Well, I'm covered in grease from my head to feet

My truck won't start and the radiator leaks

I just missed court for child support

They wanna put me on a payment that I just can't afford

Now I owe my lawyer money for the bail

The bank just sent me a notice in the mail

I'm tired of being broke, I ain't learned my lesson

And all these worries got a poor man stressing
