One More Miracle

When I was young, they told the story Of how he faced the crashing sea The Egyptians at his heels Nowhere to run Yet he leaped into the waters And they parted instantly Yes he believed, Hashem's great miracle would come When they taught us of Daniel Trapped inside the lion's den With my eyes closed I could see the scene unfold For this wondrous kind of rescue It could only be Hashem Yes the heavens can do anything- I was told So I will keep on asking For one more miracle And never stop believing The impossible can be I will be here still holding on For one more miracle Cause You're my father too And You can do the same for me Searching in the rubble For one ray to break the dark To find one precious flask of oil still pure For eight days and nights still burning And illuminating hearts In a miracle remembered evermore And when a battle weary nation On their last vestige of strength Witnessed the sun stand still Above them in the sky The victory they'd prayed for Orchestrated by His Will They believed His help would come Why shouldn't I So I will keep on asking For one more miracle And never stop believing The impossible can be I will be here still holding on For one more miracle Cause You're my father too And You can do the same for me הוא יתברך עושה נסים הוא יתברך עושה נסים הוא יתברך עושה נסים ולכל הבוטחים בו And though so many years have passed Since those great miracles And even though they happened to holiest of men Even so, I'll keep believing He has one more miracle For nothing's standing in the way Of the power of Hashem So I will keep on asking For one more miracle And never stop believing The impossible can be I will be here still holding on For one more miracle Cuz You're my father too And You can do the very same for me
