Two straight days of waking up at seven

Gonna treat myself and sleep 'til eleven

Kinda feel like I've been hit by a truck:

Eighteen wheels of good wine and bad luck

I could see giving up music…but DRINKING?! But drinking?

This conversation's getting out of hand

It used to be about the drinking, man

My doctor says I should watch it with the band

And it always elevates my mood

I just know that drinking is my calling

It's what I was put on this Earth to do

But music distorts my vision

Gives me unrealistic ambitions

And I'm tired of all the revisions

Tonight, I'm on a mission

Why would I quit on something so divine?
