Claustrophobic, cowering in the dark

Frozen visage twisted by the horror witnessed

Can't resist the messages

Septic whispered promises

Of war

War and conquest

Cast among monstrosities

Mangled by technology

Tortured by the endless visions of it

Trapped among these servants of the damned

Cybernetic beacon in the brain of a maniac priest

Mentally reanimates the recently deceased, and

They rip themselves apart

Flesh desecrated

Into something that is not

Human any longer

Bones are splintered

Skin and muscle torn to ribbons

Reconfigured

Mechanized abominations

Now those bloody hands descend

Now my flesh is theirs to rend

In darkness, awaken in conscripted service

A mutilated soldier of God
