I roll with caterpillars

In the dirt but I survive

Deep inside a flower

Rain showers slip and slide

I'm never satisfied

I'm just getting by

On some petals,

Hating staring at the butterflies but

Wait till I get fly

I'm not ok

But I'm breathing leaving suckers at the doorway

On a tree limb hanging in the sun's gaze

On a leaf in the breeze tryna escape but

No escaping all my demons is on display

Though I don't do well with change

Crawl inside my shell

Blame myself and what remains Caterpillars

Different colors but we all the same

I get low tryna' scream through the Growing pains

Lepidoptera who lingering in mid stage

Maintaining these strange thoughts In this cage

I'm not crazy though this chrysalis is insane
