How is that okay to you?

Tell me why is this still happening?

Another suicide on the news, and it's due to bullying

I can't wrap my mind around the things that are going on

Cause everything I see is just repeating, and it's been far too long

I'm not asking for a lot, but I need to see direction

How can the ones that saw it happen go to bed knowing they didn't take no action?

Did I forget to mention?

All the kids that are 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Ever think about that?

Being so young, and having thoughts about taking their own lives

What about the ones that are younger than that?

Should be kids, having fun, skipping rocks

But instead, they have a rope around their necks

Tell me how does this make sense?

Cause lately, I've been a mess

I don't understand what the world has come to

I want change, but there's a lot of work that we need to do

If you hear this, don't wait for others to make the first move

Cause it can start with you

Do you feel strong now

Cause we just lost one more soul

Don't tell me that it's safe at school when kids are bullied to death

Cause I'll be one sitting one on the fence

Not between the right and wrong

Don't tell me that they should've asked for help when you didn't do anything

Now we have another family that had say goodbye too early, and they're grieving

What about the kids that are ten to twelve?

What about the one three (13) to the one nines (19)?

They're about to hit their twenties, but they'll carry this until they die

Till then they'll be saying that "I'm fine"

The point I'm making is that, we're losing so many people

Sad to see that almost every where I look

Some never made it there

So take a second to ask yourself

What is going on here?

If you had the chance to make it right

Did you do it?

Cause I wanna know if you really care?

Don't tell me it was no big deal

Cause they walked around with a smile on their face, and they were strong

Cause if you do, just know that you are wrong

And it's taking way too long

Don't tell me that you wish you could've stopped it, cause the damage is done

Don't tell me you didn't know cause they tried to come to you but concern

There was none

Don't say you're caring now cause it's too late and some of them are gone

I try to keep it together, with these thoughts on my mind

When I know someone out there just took their own life

How did we create a world where you can say that we gotta stay away from you?

Not because you did any harm

But the way you look is enough to come at you

With our words, you killed another one so add it to your list

Now it's too late to turn back time

Too late to recognize

All the signs they displayed

We ignored it all until they're gone today
