What's the worst time to move to a new school? Junior Year

I guess that's why I disappear into book

Lately I've become obsessed with this fairytale about this guy, Prince Oliver

Don't judge me, check out his illustration and tell me he isn't hot

Well the prince you see he’s a lot like me his dad is totally gone for good (Totally gone for good)

And that very first week I went on such I streak that I memorized every word (Memorized every word)

Sometimes it's nice just to empathise

Also those tights really flaunt his thighs

So I read another chapter, another chapter where Oliver's brave and kind

Then I read another chapter, another chapter it helps to distract my mind

Don't care if I'm out of place

Don't care if I'm a waste of space

As long as there’s another chapter, another chapter

Then no one can see my face

So there’s this part where prince Oliver is trying to rescue the princess but he falls off a cliff into the ocean

It's basically a metaphor for my life

Sometimes I feel like I'm falling and falling and falling and falling like you

Everything's moving way too fast and its passing me, passing me, passing me by

I don't have anything to hold onto

So here I am thirty days into my junior year obsessed with a fairytale

I’ve got to return this book

Time to give it up, get over it

Stop being such a nerd

I'm too old for this, I've got to quit

Try to blend into the herd

When did my life get so absurd?

But I don’t need another chapter, another chapter

Taking me miles away

I’ll try to read another chapter, another chapter

I know I can get there today

One day I'll get out of here

It's really only one more year

Tell me there’s another chapter, another chapter of life beyond high school fear

But before I return it I have to take one last peak at Oliver

That’s when the word "Help" appears on the page

That was never there before

I think I need another chapter, another chapter

I have to see what this could be

I need to read another chapter, another chapter

'Cause maybe he’s writing to me

What else would the story show
