I'm never fully healed

The same way that I never fully get over things

Go forward then go back again

Before I finally find peace within

I'm so good at feeling sad

I can do it on command

But joyous and free

That's when I get stuck

But my healing is slowly happening

Always got my inner voice saying don't fall for that please

I'm so good at feeling mad

I can do it on command

But joyous and free

That's when I get stuck

I had to go through rage

Forget to act my age

Lean into the pain

Feel it was all in vain

Then pick myself up

Cheer myself on

See where I was wrong

This journey, it isn't done

Connect to my purpose

And search for better days

I am happier this way

Don't need my old ways

I miss my innocent days

But I gained wisdom this way

I don't regret it all

Just wish I didn't need it all

Oops

I'm mourning my past again

Here goes the grief again

Rage, fear, depression

Then finally Acceptance

Will I always cycle

Will I doubt my decisions

Will I always wonder what I could have done better?

I'm so good at feeling sad

But self love and compassion

That's when I get stuck
