Words too fast to comprehend

They spin around my head again

As thoughts melt slowly, into time

She tewlls me how it is to feel

Of summertime a time to steal love

And swim away into the sunrise

Would you stay with me, til the sky falls down?

Would you be my queen if I were your king?

Would you wear my crown?

She talked about her vicious past

It challenged her but it didn’t last

Tried to run her down but she’s too fast

And as night surrendered to the day

Minds were refreshed but in dismay

A long way home, a long way to go

Infectious vibes do penetrate, While nervousness disintegrates

Saddened she could only be, Another August Memory
