Have Hope

You spoke the word and light began

 You built the heavens, carved the lands

 You sculpted me 

 With your own breath and your own hands

 So much of you I can’t explain

 You are beyond all time and space

 Kingdoms will rise and fall, but you always remain

  

 What would I fear for

 My heart is all yours

 You are the way, the truth, and the life

 Is the Rock of all ages

 The stone that won’t break

 Through all the chaos that I see

 I find in you my place of peace
