Now we wage wars of sin.

Sitting on a limb.

The targets chosen.

Battered and broken they bleed within.

 

Mortared by a shell.

No more resistance.

The threat is now neutralized.

 

Bullets overhead.

Praying to the sun.

Crawling and falling and no remorse.

We March on and on.

Failing from a choice.

Reaching for the grain.

Sifting and waiting and no more voice.
