It's time to come to my senses

The more I try the worse it gets

And I get scared when I feel my grip slipping

But I know that it's for the best

If it's my time to let go

Then I want everything I know to fall apart

And now that everything has fallen from around me

It all seems so clear

Sometimes I apply too much pressure

When all I need is to let my wounds breathe

When negativity has hit my system

It's the overthinking that's choking me

Choking me

I have learnt my lesson, I've learnt it well

And now I'm moving onwards for myself

It's not an easy concept to get your head around

Because no one can ever set me free
