you finally stick the landing.

The fear of looking back to be

From here you look so far ahead.

From there I am the clearest winner.

Argue til we can't decide,

this looks charming from the outside.

To focus on a future that remains uncertain.

To worry you'll become your friends' next missing person.

You'll find me at the end of Grand St. by the fences,

between the water and the factories that have become houses.

Don't want to seem ungrateful,

but the bar can never be set high enough.

I like the house we built of all life's limitations.

Should I just break my knees to lower expectations?
