A selfish beast, a creature of the night

Corrupting souls, taking others light

Bragging about treasures and gold

Lying to himself, while his fate unfolds

Bragging, lying

You cannot build a fortune on lies and fake

All you do is demand and take and take

His heart is a tomb, a rotting place

Forever hungry, in constant chase

He knows all, or so he believes

Consumed by greed, he can never succeed

In a world of darkness, he can't escape

As his riches crumble, his soul meets it's fate

He thinks he is immortal

Above the fray

But he fails while holding

His castle at bay...
