We're goin' down to O-Town

Gonna have ourselves a time

Worked 52 hours last week in Duncan just to make me a redneck dime

I'm goin' to the mayor's house for a party and half of that town's gonna show

If we need more drinks, we can take the golf cart down to the Conoco

Down around the corner where there's three RVs lined up in a permanent row

And there's no tellin' how long they're gonna be there

I don't mind, this is my kind of town

We're just down the street but we're so damn loud

You would think there was no one around

We got enough beers here to go around

Sweatin' all week in the blazin' heat oughta earn you a drink or two

We all know everybody here, and we talk for hours about shootin' deer

Yeah this crowd knows how to get down

Early in the mornin' the mayor's wife is making breakfast out on the porch

Folks are rollin' out of their campers squintin' at the sun blazin' like a torch

And Oklahoma gets hot as hell about the second week of July

And if you ain't from around here I guarantee you feel like you're gonna die

In the afternoon we get out the guns

Gonna shoot us a clay or two

If you brought your dog you better watch the chickens if they get let out of the coop

If your brought your dirt bike, or a razor, there's some trails you can ride around

But if you go down in the creek you better watch it

You might get upside down
