My body is weak, my mind’s growing stronger

It orders release of the nightmares it conjures

Illusory, lucid dreams, memories haunt my sleep

One moments relief from imaginary monsters

New reality old words left unconquered

Reveries a fantasy you’re holding me and

I can breathe

Rock myself to sleep
