Running away, from what you're trying to convey

Wearing your need, like an armour of conceit

Whose opinion should I seek, what conclusion should I reach and how ?

You're insecure, really, trying so hard to be loved but love's skin deep

Lying between, sinew, if you could monetise thinking, thought is free

Smoother than skin, in an effort to hide within

Flowers for words, dictating your own worth

You're coming off cruel, really, I wear my heart for all to see

Cast aspersions, temper equations

Sword and shield won't keep me safe

Feel you here in reverent silence

My suspicion's not my taste

Hard to grow in temperate places

On the verge of my domain
