When I lie awake at night

Blood running

Try to turn away

I’m a vessel

I’m a disguise

Streams and Waterways

Put my fortunes in a pile

Make them something

I can climb on to

Dreams so big

They float in to the air

And if I stop the clocks

Would I

feel good on the outside

And if I turn back

Would I throw it all away

Inside these streams and waterways

I try to call it back

I’m face to face with you

All my instincts

Surfacing and moving from me

I’m out at sea and I’m never coming back
