We ran around in fields behind the house

And fought with sticks and stones that we found

You ran behind, you fell upon the floor

Catch up sunny, you're slowing down

Heavy weights you made into a crown

You let it drag you down until it made you crawl

Think of grass, like needles on the skin

Overcast skies with a purple tint

I look around to find you're nowhere at all

And now I don't look for you anymore

The field has been empty for way too long
