Snow Day

Another snow day that we're miles away

I try to maintain a holiday mental state

When the phone rings, my understanding of love really turns around

I don't need you here as long as I can hear Mariah singing in the background

When did my phone die? I don't think that I can make it home alive

Just want you by my side, but these roads forbid me from making the drive

Let's try to build a fire till we're tired of burning up paper balls

Let's watch a movie or two or three and hang lights up from all the walls

You can tuck me in bed, but I won't feel your hand on my head

You promised me that you'd be home for Christmas Eve
