She's been at the place that I grew up at

Which was in Berlin

Ita's grandmothers little house

She hadn't had a lot of money

But she had this little house and survived World War Two there

I loved it when I was there

It was freedom

It was just being you

You could pee wherever you wanted to

You could whatever

So when I came here with Mike

He thought I would not like it

He told everybody

"I'm gonna take her up there, and this is a deal breaker

If she doesn't like it then I can't have this woman in my life"

I fell in love

I used to sit in that kitchen, at night, when he was in pain sometimes

And I would write notes in my journal that I have at home

This is bringing back my childhood

And the love that was in our family

And that's what this place means to me

Or meant to me

And I'm forever grateful that I was able to spend

From, well, from '09 until '21

I named it that way
