Everybody’s watching me for the slip up

Wish I could let you hold me down the way you

Think you should

Dreaming like a little kid with a sweet tooth

I still chip a couple teeth when I need to

Sugar rush, chasing every high like I can’t get enough

I don’t wanna be bored at 63

Missing everything I wish I could be

I’d rather take it too far than nowhere at all

Maybe I fall but

Don’t try to catch me

I'm too far, gone

To bring me back down to reality

The easy road isn’t for me

And If I go down

I’ll go down swinging

At least I know I'm living it

And one day when you think of me

You'll be happy to know I'm at peace

Walk a wire in the sky for a quick thrill

Living like it’s fight or flight need to exhale

I could play safe, rewire my brain

But that’s a whole lotta work to make you think I’m okay
