Her House (Single Edit)

To her house, he enters in

Turns on the lamp, glows warm the light

The smell's an air-like fingerprint

Chamomile and tulips white

And he observes the corners

In the big rooms and the small

And the walls, encase him

Blue cushions, ease the fall

And he sees himself, in her mirrors

And he views the world, through her windows

Then he tells her it’s alright

Every basement is meant to have

Some old stuff, lying around

And so he sits there on the couch

And in his mind, there is no doubt

That this is where he will be

To watch the seasons flee

Now she sees herself, in another mirror

And she views the world through a different window

And he tells him it's alright, not every marriage it's meant to last
