Visions

I saw a sky full of stars

Slip into a void

A galaxy drifting away

Into background noise

Visions and visions again

I saw the sun fade to black

And the moon turn to dust

Day was as dark as the night

And I fell out of touch

I'm awake in a dream

But I can't wake from sleep

I'm lost in the deep

I saw the earth break away

Into a great divide

The light caved into dark

Before my eyes

Visions and visions again

Every night when I sleep

I fall into these thoughts

Again and again and again

I'm looking for God

I'm awake in a dream

But I can't wake from sleep

I'm lost in the deep

I need the light

To open my eyes

And renew my mind
