I've heard of climate change, people changing their ways

I've heard the whole world's involved

I'd like to lend a hand, I'd like to understand

What I can do on my own

Discount my significance

You've underestimated

Even though I'm just a kid

Me and my friends care about this

We've got an outdoor space, somewhere I can create

A landscape to make my own, yeah

We'll pot some plants and seeds, I'll help by planting trees

A garden I can watch grow

They'll help to clean up the air

I'll learn what grows well and where

We can eat some of the food

So what we buy is reduced, yeah

We live in a house, no need to go without

But I can look 'round my home

Are we using energy when we don't need to be?

Could be collecting our own

How does my house perform?

Keeping me cool and warm

Going beyond my front door?

Instead of driving, just walk

We'll organize the trash, separate this from that

See where it finally goes

Waste doesn't go away, just finds another place

Even all my old clothes

We'll try to make lese garbage

Recycle stuff that we can

When something's busted, restore

Donate what you don't need no more

You'll find me listening, you'll find me leaning in

Hands in the dirt, mind open

Habits can be retaught, ideas can be rethought

Just takes a little effort

None of this is my fault

I'm still showing support

Then I'll know that I fought

For something so important
