She can’t remember the last time

She walked through those doors

But the sign says all are welcome at the house of Lord

She stares at the stain glass on the walls

As the choir sings I surrender all

She knows everybody knows

Who she is and what she’s done

All the shame & regret of living

Have left her undone

But you could see the tears on her face

As she runs to the altar of grace
