Some say love can show up any given Sunday

For me it drove up in a Hyundai

With a moving truck and a sold sign in the driveway

Monday I was by the window drinking coffee

Reading the paper when it struck me

His cut off sleeves and rolled up jeans got me some type of way

Would I be the talk of the block

If I left a note on his mailbox?

He just moved in 'cross the street

He swept me right off my feet

The way he walks down the drive

I watch him take out the trash

I wish he'd hold me like that

He can drop by anytime
