Find Peace

Recently there's been a piece of me

That needs some peace in my life

Or maybe the entirety of myself of the

Pieces I like, the pieces that ain't corrupt

Enough I need to be like, the man I used

To be before mistakes that I might, never

Move on from but I need to be free, free

As I did once before I fell in too deep

A darkened place fueled by mistakes that

I never will be, forgive myself for but now

I can see, the wrong that I've done I'm sorry

For all the hurt that has come, I see my past

Approaching I begin to just run, I'm one for

Mistakes I let it just bleed into choices I make

Can't let then be now even though it is with me

Everyday, I've been trying to find some, peace

In my life, thankful for then and, now it is like

My memories are filled with dreams and at night

I dream about then, interesting right, I'm thankful

For all the, good stuff that is here, flashes of green

In the trees that I walk through in peace I hold dear

I'm losing track of, who I am in this race, a race for

What, a rush to get to the end I'm afraid

I lost hope, then I didn't, got it back, then

To your soul make fire turn cold ambitions can lead to darker

Things so I've been told, so I've seen, so I've experienced

And lost so many parts my heart keep beating, nights keep

Dreaming started thinking who's one to ask for more I can

Feel around me a simple life full of fortune more than goals

My obligations keep on working hurts for me to keep on leaving

Home but home is where the heart is so I keep it beating

Keep it thriving thankful for who and what I have in my life

And need I ask for more I keep on asking myself every night and

Yes I got this guilt still built in my heart still know all the things that

I've done still feel the sunshine on my face in the midst of the day when

The world seems so dark and people are cold but maybe they're cold

Because they never had any warm in their heart I'm thankful because
