I’ve written down a long list of

The things about Jesus that I love

Everyday I live there’s more and more

Of just what makes me love the Lord

I love Him for a million reasons

And I could never count them all

For His mercy, grace and kindness

Andhow every day His blessings fall

For all the ways I’ve been forgiven

I’ll thank Him for eternity

But the thing about Jesus I love the most

Is the way that He loves me

When there’s a whisper in my ear

That tells me I ought to doubt and fear

That just ain’t the way my Savior is

And when I look at all He did

I love Him for a million reasons

And I could never count them all

And how every day His blessings fall

And I could name another million

And even if I reached the end

A million more would still be waiting

That say how good He’s always been

For all the times I’ve found Him faithful

And all the ways I’ve yet to see
