In the shadow of the clouds

I am grey

Even though I’m having doubts

I stay

Shimmers of a summer song

That color up my life

I’ve been looking for my thoughts to rhyme

With laughs and dreams and never minds

A little love a little time

And so I grow

Every day a little more

In the mirror of his eyes

I thought I’d see

Another truth of who I was

and all I’d ever be

I was looking for another soul

To cheer me up and make me whole

Compliments and rock & roll

To color up my life

But I’m learning to find love in me

Through laughs and dreams and turning keys

A little time is all I need
