Lamplit evenings here in the galaxy

One after another, after another

Air like light, and light like water

Together, we're hurtling on

There is a form I haven't discovered

It doesn't appear to those who go searching

So I sit back and try to imagine

All things unclear and fast-moving

In some other unreal place

Eyes that are staring out

And hands that create

I will sit in the gathering gloom next to you
