Well I used to be

Another face in the crowd but my smile shined out, couldn't catch me

'Cause my dreams were big, couldn't stop me once I'd started

And now it feels like a lie every time I say I’m fine

But I'm fine

Sometimes I feel, like everything I have starts crashing down around me

I want the old me back but this feeling says "you can't have him"

And I'd tell you how I'm feeling if my thoughts

My thoughts could tell

But every time I find myself, I'm wishing that I could be someone else

With only footsteps behind me

And every time I fall asleep, I'm wishing that I'll wake and it sets me free

I know I might sound crazy

A little full of self doubt, short tempered and frustrated

I can’t help the fact that I’m so down I hate it

I'd turn it all around now if I could
