another tragedy

i’m losing everything

my aching heart hurts

it won’t get better

it makes no sense to me

the dark will get lighter

it’s never enough

the spark will be brighter

it’s calling my bluff

i’m running on empty

and everything’s tempting

it makes no sense to me…

if we died out tomorrow

with nothing left to follow into the dark

repeating agony

it’s draining energy

my eyes are open

but i see nothing

is this what’s meant to be?

the end it feels farther

i know it'll come
