I went to visit a life changing scene

In the land where God’s people once walked

I imagined the battles those hills had seen

As Joshua, just kept marching on

Then I came to, where once stood an impassible thing

The tall walls of old Jericho

I could almost hear voices from deep in the ground

A testimony from the rubble below

Now, in my life, I confess I had towering walls

That left me, a captive inside

A prison of strongholds my choices had caused

A fortress of my foolish pride

Finally broken, I knelt at an old rugged cross

My walls fell, with a victory shout

And if we could hear voices from under the blood

My sinful rubble would tell you right now…
