Nosedive

I was driving out on the highway thought about swerving in the other lane

Right in front of a bus or a big semi-truck, the impact blew me away

It's not that I'm looking to die I just wonder bout falling sometimes

Looking over the edge I feel alive I'm thinking about taking a nosedive

It's not that I'm working this dead end job, my brother got the chicken farm

I've got two good hands to take my bottles and cans in, I just never make it that far

I was swimming the river near, just a little up from the weir

The signed said no, but I wanted to go, a ghost leaving the party

Chopping wood out behind the shed, wondering who would miss me if I fell down dead

Would the flowers grow up through the snow, would my kid still go to heaven?

It's not that I ain't been sleeping at all, my sister won the lottery
