Tonight it’s going down

Circus is coming to town

You don’t want to miss

The glowing lights in the square

They say it’s gonna be

Bigger than the year before

And so I have to go

Red hearts flying around

Revving up the shiny clowns

Riding on endorphin highs

Trying to steal the show

You don’t have to think too much

Just let yourself go

And now I’m caught up in the crowd

The trumpets starts to sound

I don’t know if this is for me

I better fall into line

As they lead us marching through town

Just don’t let anyone

Catch you out

If you’re feeling down

At the blue parade

The music’s getting loud

Keep up

Don’t slow down

Spinning circle

Always something new to see

But I rub my tired eyes

Looking for a place to rest my weary memory

I hear the calling of the crowd

Another trumpet starts to sound

I don’t know if this is for me

I heard them say it’s going to be far bigger than the year before

And though I’ll sit it out

It’s impossible to shut the door
