I've Been Through a Breakthrough

Been through days filled with sorrows.

Been through doubt about tomorrow.

I’ve been through the valley, deep and wide

I’ve had more questions than answers

Lost friends and loved ones to cancer.

But I’ve also been to the other side

I’ve been through a breakthrough

Had my valleys turned to mountain views

God was faithful all the while.

I’ve been through a breakthrough

Now I know for what I go through--

He’ll be with me, each and every mile.

I’ve seen Him mend a heart in pieces

Seen Him leave the doctor speechless

I’ve seen Him heal a broken life

So, I will pray when all seems hopeless,

And I will trust the Father knows best.

For He’s carried me time after time.
