The Hummingbird

A raging fire

Was burning in the jungle

And all of the animals were scared

They looked at each other

Saying

What can we do?

This problem is too big for us to handle

Except for one creature

The tiny hummingbird

She said

I'm gonna see what I can do

She flew to the stream

Picked up some water in her beak

And dropped it right over the fire

Back-and-forth she went

From the river to the flames

While the animals watched her and cried

Oh little hummingbird

It's no use

Do you really think that you can make a difference?
