Spent a long time

Searching for the star that led the wise men that night

In the dark sky

There’s a million of them that are burning so bright

The wounded souls

The outstretched hands

Hear the carols

Sung by many choirs on the eve of this birth

A beginning

Just another chance to realize what it’s worth

To be giving

Let someone know that they belong on this earth
