Dear God

I pray that, through my story

I'm able to reach the hearts of those that tune in

Let the marathon be a testimony

May it uplift the vibration of the souls that it's meant to

You ain't really about it at all

Never wanna be someone I'm not

Working long days 'cause it's all connected

I feel it in my cells it's that feeling of purpose

Giving it your all 'cause you know that it's worth it

How may I articulate the way to freedom

Moment of peace in the act of being

Building up your temple to inherit the kingdom

Searching for the truth so it can set you free

Realizing then that you found it from

Doing what you can for the good of the people

Heavy is the head that's filled with wisdom

Leaders got to lead that's just the way it is

Paving a different path away from corrupt systems

I found out who I am

Allowed myself to spark up this flame

Now I know what it became

Remember who you are

Pain into purpose

Smiling through the hardships

Crying in your room while you praying to the Lord

Though it took a while you finally realized

What you have within is brighter than that gold

Most precious thing in life you could ever hold

Answering the call from deep within, that's right

Learning to play the cards and when to fold

Trusting in the guidance within and up above

Never mind the people that couldn't stay (it's all love)

Welcomin' the ones that made it here (we all one)

This very moment right here is divine timing

Coming to the realization of your divine right

Always had the vision so when it came (it's on sight)

Had to claim dominion of Gods' gift (our birthright)

Embodying the path to ascension it's only right

Showing everyone what's possible

Through the light
