If you are a writer, songwriter, or

Aspiring writer, I have a pro tip for you

I recommend putting names into your songs

I didn't realize this was a good idea

Until I put out an album called

If You Ask Me I'll Tell You

Back in I think 2020

And I had a bunch of different names that came into that album

And some of them were real people

Some of them were characters

Some of them names were changed

Whatever but there were a lot of names

And I started getting messages from people

Maybe partially because it was like

High COVID times too

People are bored I don't know

But I'd get a lot of like

Oh hey my name's Sophia

Thank you for writing that song about me

And I'd say, no, I didn't write that song about you

But you're welcome, I guess

And there were a few people named Alex who reached out to me

Because I wrote this song called Alexandra

And one of them's standing right here

And she was quite persistent And I was kind of like OK cool Like

See you later And then she would message me back and then eventually

She's like hey I'm a singer would you produce some songs for me

And I said, well, I don't really do that

I produce my own music, but I've never produced anyone else

But eventually, persistence won me over

And I produced some music for Alex

I haven't produced all of it, but I've produced some of it

And anyway, I just wanted to thank Alex because that was

Like, I don't know, a year and a half, two years ago

And from that point on, I've had

Not when we made the music

No, when you began bothering me on the internet

But, yeah, but so like, you know, we produced some stuff

The time's not important. Now I have to cut this out

Anyway the point is that I've had

Like a client I've been producing

Somebody like straight through from then

Until now I've picked up all these other people

Some of them are here tonight

And I don't know it's just been a new

Journey for me and without you

Bugging me I wouldn't have had that so I appreciate that
