If I'm toeing the line then I can't feel my toes

I probably should go blind and mute until

I'm not judgmentally ill

The sunrise I saw

When I went to bed

Gave me the courage

To lay down my head

At least for a while

If one day the earth

Is swallowed by the sun

At least on that day

We all will be one
