It was You who tamed the lions till they drifted off to sleep

And it was You that held the waters, so I barely wet my feet

It’s Your heart that draws me closer

It’s Your hand that’s guiding me

And it’s Your shoulder that I cry on

How those shoulders carried me

It’s Your ways that I’m still learning

It’s Your grace that I still need

And it’s Your word I build my life on

It's the lamp unto my feet

It's Your stripes that bought my healing

It’s Your death by which I’ll rise

And if Your grave don’t have a body

That means death ain’t keeping mine

It’s Your song I’ll sing forever

Unencumbered there by time
