You wander through the grove alone

Where nothing’s wrong and nothing’s right

A path reveals, a path conceals

Attune your eyes to see at night

Where troubles blur and dreams collide

Oh this is where your heart lies

You wander through the grove

Dressed in robes made by dragonflies

Of saffron and gold

It’s you, but something ain’t right

And you long for home

So at night you sing your lullabies

And you falter

So you hold onto

Each sweet thing that you find

And you cry out

But the words you use

No one seems to hear ‘em right

And you stumble

On the roots you planted

Dug out overnight

You wander through the grove

‘til you find a bird you recognize

You sing your song slow

You’re patient now, you know the night

‘til the forest floor is in her eyes

And she echoes your heart’s cry
