I saw em hanging with the damned

Reaching for the end

And I don't know what follows

But some things I can't defend

he'll set you free

But even killers can believe

They say It's part of gods big plan

Every tragedy and disease

How can you pick and choose who leaves

I find it hard to think that you could live and fall for anybody else

Well a time must come when everyone has got to face themselves

When the clouds come rain must follow

A flock with every swallow

The waves rush out to sea

I don't have a book to follow

No greater voice to borrow

All my pain is me

I've seen mothers lose their homes

I've seen children on their own

I seen hospitals save lives though

They went and fixed your head

Just to keep you on leash

Collect my debt then pray for me

I seen holy wars and scripts

I've seen great big tanks and ships

How words can be so hollow

I guess god don't like the strip

The path of the righteous paved in bones

When did angels turn into drones
